第27章 处事论是非 立言贵精详

In handling affairs,one should be clear about right and wrong,and attentive to intensiveness and thoroughness in writing and speaking.

大丈夫[1]处事，论是非不论祸福；士君子[2]立言，贵平正尤贵精详[3]。

有为之士为人处事时，只关心正确与否而不关心给他带来的是灾祸还是福祉。

有学之士发表言论或写文章时，重要的是公平公正但更重要的是论述要精辟。

English Translation

In handling affairs,a true man only cares about what is right and wrong,not about whether the affairs will turn out to be a good fortune to him or not.

In writing or speaking,a knightly scholar first pays attention to justice and equity,and then more attention to the intensiveness and thoroughness.
